Western Australian operations
Located deep in the south west of Western Australia, Auswest Timbers' Pemberton facility value adds one of Australia's most unique eucalypts - Karri. Karri is an extremely durable hardwood, with colours ranging from light pinks to deep reddish browns.
Victorian operations
Auswest Timbers has a sawmill and a processing centre located in Eastern Victoria - in the centre of Victoria's mixed species eucalypt forests. The Orbost Sawmill converts sawlogs to green sawn timber for a variety of applications, including structural and appearance products, scantling and tile battens. Hardwoods from the Orbost Sawmill are then sent to the Bairnsdale Processing Centre for kiln drying in state-of-the-art facilities. The timber is then processed into tongue and grooved flooring, decking, fence screening, furniture timbers and joinery.
Australian Capital Territory operations
The Fyshwick Processing Centre in the ACT is a highly specialised and efficient facility for the production of Radiata Pine roof tiling battens, for use in the domestic building industry in the Eastern States.
